Who is the main target group of the grant? | — companies entered in the Estonian Business Register; — The applicant may involve a partner who is a private legal entity or an R&D Institution in the project. Projects in the following sectors are not supported: — the decommissioning or construction of nuclear power plants making, processing and marketing of tobacco and tobacco products; — firms in difficulty as defined in article 2 clause 18 of Commission Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014 (1), except where this is allowed according to temporary State aid rules established to deal with exceptional circumstances or in the context of de minimis aid, to support investments that reduce energy costs in the context of the energy system transformation process; — investments related to the production, processing, transport, distribution, storage or combustion of fossil fuels. |
Project duration: | The eligibility period of a project begins as of the date of submission of the application or as of the date specified in the decision granting the application and ends on the date specified in the decision granting the application, but not later than: — on 31 December 2026 in the case of activities listed in clauses (1)-(4) and (6) – up to 36 months; — on 31 October 2029 in the case of activities listed in clauses (5) and (7) – up to 60 months (see “Supported activities”). |

Maximum grant: | 5,000,000 euros |
Grant % of total eligible project costs: | 25% — 80% |
Supported activities in the project: | 1) industrial research; 2) experimental development; 3) a feasibility study; 4) applying for the initial protection of intellectual property related to the activity specified in clauses 1) or 2); 5) the establishment of a knowledge-intensive pilot infrastructure for the first industrial deployment of a new product, service or technology; 6) the implementation of an IPCEI project; 7) design, infrastructure development, connection to networks and other support activities related to the establishment of the knowledge-intensive pilot infrastructure required for the first industrial deployment of a new product, service or technology. |
